The brave souls below have all gone on at least one bus trip with Minibird Travel.
Jerry B.
-Engineer/Febreeze Specialist-
♦Redemption Tour Alumni
♦Provincial Tour Alumni
♦Construction Phase II Contributor
Jerry has become a regular on our bus trips and helped out by assisting in staining & installing the custom bunk beds even before he came on a trip with us. He has introduced to our trips numerous new food items, and sometimes has simply introduced familiar food items in unique quantities. One of his hall of fame moments was only a few hours into the Redemption Tour, when we followed his advice to go see a tree in the middle of the road in Brayton, Iowa at night. While we almost got hopelessly stuck in the mud, it turned out to be an excellent first experience for the crew of the trip to weather some adversity together.
Jerry is a Gold Alumni.
Dani T.
-Medieval Archaeologist-
♦Equestrian Tour Alumni
♦Redemption Tour Alumni
♦Construction Phase I & Phase II Contributor
Dani has completed one full trip on the Redemption Tour and met us in Lexington, Kentucky for the Equestrian Tour. She has also volunteered dozens of hours of labor & logistics over the course of both construction phases. You will generally find Dani curled up with a non-travel book somewhere in the bus when we’re on the road, although on occasion she can also be found wearing wolf glasses and rocking out to an ice cream sundae at the Yellowstone Lodge.
Dani is a Platinum Alumni.
Johno Z.
-Power Belt Champion-
♦Equestrian Tour Alumni
♦Redemption Tour Alumni
♦Construction Phase II Contributor
♦Woodman’s Market Liaison
Johno is known to exhibit normally quiet & friendly behavior on the bus, unless he wants us to exit the highway to go to In-N-Out Burger immediately while traveling 65 mph in the far left lane. He also has a penchant for sweet-talking late night hillbilly Subway employees from bumcrap towns into giving the bus crew free chips & desserts. He was usually able to extract at least a brownie or a cookie from the helpless sandwich artistettes.
Johno is a Gold Alumni.
Craig B.
-Solar Panel Inventor/Musician-
♦Redemption Tour Alumni
♦Provincial Tour Contributor
♦Construction Phase II Contributor
Craig can only be described as a creature of habit, and those habits are a bit on the rabble rousing side. Having the confidence of Craig on board the bus dramatically increases both the safety & danger of everyone on the trip. We learned from Craig how to use throwing knives, and also that it is perfectly acceptable to practice throwing knife technique on trees, road signs, buildings, and even giant green dinosaur statues. It should be stated that without Craig, we would never have gotten out of Garberville, California. He also did a marvelous job rewiring the Ark for modern audio equipment.
Craig is a Gold Alumni.
Marce K.
-Montessori Directress-
♦Redemption Tour Alumni
Marce was a last-minute addition to the bus crew and proved to be a very important member of the Redemption Tour. She introduced a laid back vibe on board during some of the long 8-hour drives across the country. She was also the least stressed out when we ran into small and large instances of adversity, which rubbed off on the rest of us (except for Craig who is oblivious to adversity). Her family even contributed to the trip by hosting us for a pool party brunch at the end of the trip. Her pictures ended up being the nicest as well, and can be seen on the Redemption Tour Album page.
Marce is a Bronze Alumni.
